After gracing the stage at the 2024 Oscars and presenting the award for Best Supporting Actress to the deserving Da’Vine Joy Randolph for ‘The Holdovers,’ Jamie Lee Curtis decided to indulge in a classic post-show tradition: a visit to In-N-Out.
The 65-year-old actress, joined by fellow past winners Mary Steenburgen, Lupita Nyong’o, Rita Moreno, and Regina King, made her way from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood straight to the iconic fast-food chain for a satisfying post-show meal.
Sharing glimpses of her impromptu In-N-Out adventure on Instagram, Curtis revealed the brief nature of her Los Angeles trip for the Oscars. Her checklist was succinct: “FLY IN. GET FLUFFED AND FOLDED. PRESENT AT OSCARS. GO TO @inandout_burger. FLY AWAY.”
In the photos she shared, Curtis appeared in good spirits, seated comfortably in her car as she awaited her order. The images captured her interaction with the drive-up server and showcased her simple yet delicious order of fries, a burger, and a soda, neatly arranged in her car’s cupholder.
In-N-Out has become a popular haunt for celebrities during awards season, with stars like Paul Giamatti, who celebrated his Golden Globes win for ‘The Holdovers’ there back in January, making headlines for their visits.
Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel, shedding light on the post-show ritual, explained, “The award show tradition is In-N-Out after the show… Also, you get very hungry, so In-N-Out is definitely the award show tradition.”
